John Ioannidis: It's a great pleasure to be in Berlin, Stefanie, and Berlin has been a fascinating place to do meta-research. Professor Ioannidis, what have you been researching over the last two years at your Berlin location? In 2019, John Ioannidis founded METRIC B, the Institute of Meta-Research at the BIH in Berlin. He is also the director of METRICS at the Institute of Meta-Research at Stanford University.

He is a professor of medicine at the Stanford Prevention Centre, a professor of epidemiology and population health, of statistics and biomedical data science. How well is the research performed, how robust are the results, how sound are the statistics behind the experimental setup?
